19 Year Horror Franchise ‘Saw’ Expands with ‘Saw X’

19 Year Horror Franchise Saw Expands with Saw X

Saw X is a 2023 American horror film and the tenth installment in the Saw film series. It is a direct sequel to Saw (2004) and a prequel to Saw II (2005).

I’ve seen the new Saw movie, and in my opinion, the movie is good. There are some twists and turns in the movie that you wouldn’t expect, that’s for sure. Overall, though, I feel that the movie wasn’t really about games like the other Saw movies were. The people captured by Jigsaw aka John Kramer usually have to complete multiple tasks and do things to survive, but in this movie, there weren’t a lot of games. I think that they’ve definitely done better in the previous movies.

The movie was gruesome, so beware of that if you plan on seeing the movie. I would definitely watch the movie again because I love the Saw movies, but if you haven’t seen at least the first and second Saw movies, I wouldn’t recommend seeing it yet because you won’t understand the meaning of the big twist in the movie.

Spoiler Alert

I absolutely was not expecting Amanda Young to be Kramer’s apprentice. I was also confused as to why Amanda, a previous victim of Jigsaw, was feeling sympathy for one of the girls when she planned to take over for Kramer whenever he died. She can’t feel sorry for them if she wants to carry the legacy of Jigsaw on. I also was wondering if they will come out with a new Jigsaw movie if Amanda will be taking over, and if Kramer will be dead. I’ve also never seen Kramer feel bad for anyone, and at the end of the movie, he took in a boy and protected him.

I really enjoyed the movie besides the few questionable and little things that they changed in this movie.
