Chiefs Defeat Bills, Ravens to Advance to Super Bowl

On Sunday, January 1, 2024, the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills went head-to-head on a Wild Card weekend. This game broke the record for the most views for a playoff game with over 50 million watchers. The Chiefs won the game with an end score of 27-24.

Jason Kelce, a Philadelphia Eagles center, showed up to the game in support of his brother Travis and the Kansas City Chiefs. Jason was seen many times throughout the game. In one instance, he was seen shirtless, then began to chug a beer and jump from the luxury box into the crowd below.

Jason was sitting next to his brother’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, a 34-year-old music artist breaking records for her ‘Eras Tour.’ An 8-year-old Swift fan who was sitting just below the luxury box was picked up and carried over to Swift’s view by Jason. The fan waved to Swift as she waved back. The young girl’s mother said in a ‘TODAY show’ interview that “she was crying, just out of happiness.”

After a touchdown, Travis Kelce was seen holding up a heart with his hands to his luxury box where his family and Swift were sitting. The “heart hands” are known as Taylor’s signature symbol. When Travis was asked about this, he responded with, “Yeah, man, had to spread the love, baby. You always gotta spread that love, baby,”  In the Kelce brothers podcast, Jason stated that he “absolutely loved” meeting Taylor.
