Advice for Enjoying AMI Days

Advice+for+Enjoying+AMI+Days

‘Tis the season! Rain, snow, and cold weather are here, and they seem to be going hard this year. Recently the snow was too bad, so we had to stay home. I understand the annoyance that boredom causes and how a change, no matter how small, in your day can be extremely upsetting, so here I’m going to be giving you ideas on how to help make your day the best it can be, even in the snow.

Some people enjoy being inside when it snows, but I personally love being outside, so here are some ideas for what to do outside while there’s snow on the ground! There are, of course, the basics, Making snow angels, having snowball fights, and making snowmen, but after some time it can be boring. One idea is to go outside with your family, you can all run around and enjoy yourselves together. Another idea to do with family is to go outside and take family photos, but everyone can take turns taking photos and you can all enjoy yourselves while making the memories last. If you have pets who constantly want to be outside, then there’s your chance you can take pictures, and videos, or even just play with them. They may not like the snow at first, but I’m sure they will warm up to it (pun intended)! Of course, make sure you and your pets are bundled up and able to stay nice and warm!

As mentioned before, not everyone likes the cold and snow, so they stay inside, which can be pretty boring, and another thing is that it’s not always snowy on snow days, sometimes it’s just icy. With all that said, here are some fun and enjoyable ideas for being inside on a snow day. One thing that you could do on a snow day is play board games with your friends/family, you just get to be inside, and if you are competitive, then you get to try and beat everyone else. Another thing with board games is that you have an infinite amount of choices, you can play several games a day and never get bored because you’re playing different games. Another thing that you can do while inside is start a book, it never gets boring because when you want to stop, you just mark the book and close it and then take a break and do something else, then when you are done you can go back to reading the book where you left off and finish whenever you feel like it. The last thing to do on a snowy day while inside is to make sure your house is warm, and that your pipes don’t freeze. It may seem like a stupid thing to do, but it is very important and can be a major lifesaver when it’s really cold because then you don’t have to leave to get water from someone else.

These are all things that you can do on snow days, but there are, of course, more options. I hope you have enjoyed your snow days and stayed nice and warm, and I hope this helps to find you things to do during future snow days!
